How to change the default background color in Final Cut Pro X

 How to change the default background color in Final Cut Pro X?

• Go to Preference 
• Select Playback tab 
• Change Player Background color
• choose black (default), white, or checkerboard 

Personally, I prefer to leave it as black as that means there is nothing to see.
