How I Used Google Veo 3.1 to Market a Sunscreen...  The Challenge: I wanted to post a TikTok Shop affiliate video for Neutrogena Ultra Sheer sunscreen. The problem? My network isn’t here for skincare advice. You are here for tech trends and video workflow optimization. The Solution: I decided to bridge the gap by blending AI Video with Authentic Review. Instead of a standard "influencer" intro, I used Google Veo 3.1 to generate a cinematic, high-end commercial hook. Here is the breakdown of the creative strategy: 1. The Hook (AI): I used Google Veo 3.1 to create a "Big Budget" ad visual. This grabs the attention of my tech-savvy audience and stops the scroll. 2. The Bridge: I transitioned immediately into a raw, studio-shot video of me packing for my upcoming New Zealand trip. 3. The Pitch (Human): I validated the AI's recommendation with a real-world texture test. The Result: A piece of content that engages my niche (tech) and effectively sells the product (tru...

I Faked It: The VEO 3.1 Prompt That Generated a Cinematic NZ Drone Shot

Image
What looked like a breathtaking drone shot of me and my campervan in New Zealand was, in fact, pure AI magic. In my recent DJI Neo 2 unboxing , I teased a sweeping aerial clip: me standing beside a campervan, camera rising to reveal Mt. Cook’s snow-capped peaks. The truth? I hadn’t even left for New Zealand yet.   Instead, I turned to Google VEO 3.1, uploading a selfie and crafting one detailed cinematic prompt. The result was a hyper-realistic drone-style video that looked authentic enough to pass as real footage.   Here’s the full prompt I used:   "A real drone-style cinematic shot. Begin with a close, steady view of the person from the uploaded photo standing beside a white campervan parked on a gravel pull-off at New Zealand’s Mt. Cook region. The scenery features snow-capped mountains, turquoise glacial lakes, and dramatic valleys. The drone hovers at eye level, locked onto the person, capturing natural sunlight, crisp shadows, and ultra-clean realism....

DJI Neo 2 Unboxing & Review: The $300 Drone That Flies Itself

Image
I unbox the new DJI Neo 2 to see if this 153g drone is the ultimate travel gear. Watch the full unboxing and my risky indoor flight test here.  I needed a drone for my upcoming trip to New Zealand, but I wanted something lightweight and affordable.  The solution? The DJI Neo 2. It promises 4K video, AI tracking, and a weight of just 151g—all for under $300 (SGD). It sounded perfect on paper, so I bought one to put it to the test before my trip. Watch the full unboxing and indoor flight test below: 1. What’s in the Box? DJI keeps it simple. Inside the box, you get the drone, a USB-C cable, manuals, a screwdriver, and two spare propellers. It’s a minimalist kit that is ready to fly immediately. 2. The Weight Test Travel gear needs to be light. The official specs claim 151g, so I put it on my scale to verify.  * Actual Weight: 153g This is incredible. It’s lighter than my phone, which means it fits in a jacket pocket and requires no registration in many countries. 3. Flying ...
